Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"To cap off the year that was, our team had our last team lunch for the year at 11 Dim Sum. We did not book a table although we were 7. They have plenty of tables available. Staff is very accommodating and even though we came at lunch time and the place is busy, we were immediatelt seated. They have a different way of doing yumcha. There are no aunties pushing carts of dim sum but rather you have two options to order: one is through their app and another is to tick off their order sheet available on the table. The food will then be served to your table. Service is quick as well. I loved everything but my workmate said she did not like the fried rice. Their takeaway containers are also free. Highly recommend!"
"Conveniently located with plenty of parking in the vicinty of the restaurant. Nice and clean, new, modern looking restaurant. Friendly staff. Most of the food we ordered was good, especially the sesame balls, coriander + shrimp dumplings. The prawn rice rolls however, had an unusual taste & the prawn at the ends of the rice rolls were cold.. fancy looking desserts at the counter area. Overall a good dine in experience. We paid ~$85 for 3 people"
"Excellent piping hot fresh and tasty food. We made a booking and were seated within 5 minutes of entering the restaurant. Well managed not overly crowded and noisy like other yum cha places, yet all tables full. We enjoyed our Valentine’s Day yum cha. Why go into central Auckland when we have wonderful yum cha located in our suburb."
"First time here for Yum Cha but definitely not the last. No wait for a table & little wait for our Kai to start coming. I loved that we could quickly scan & order and that the online menu had photos of the dishes & was available in English. We ordered 8 different dishes which cost in excess of eighty dollars. Service was efficient & friendly. Our table was clean & the restaurant was also clean."
"Went on a Sunday without booking, got a table pretty fast (about 10-15mins) the atmosphere was good, obviously upgraded since I came here last. The best thing they do differently from other yum cha I’ve been to is that it’s made to order! Which ensures that your food is always fresh and hot We got rice bbq roll (would recommend), shui mai (I don’t like shui mai but this one was filled with juicy prawns, very tasty), pan fried dumplings and fried tofu are so good too. Would definitely come back"
"First time for a dinner visit and it sure won’t be my last. Great restaurant, great food and awesome friendly staff. Every dish ordered were delicious. Will try different dishes next time."
"Peking duck here is very nice very thin wrap also the lettuce second course is one of the best i ever tasted. it has perfect amount of flavors with no weird smell and the size of the meat and vege is perfect."
"Overall it was an average experience. The service was just okay and the food was acceptable. Nothing special, but not bad either."
